Full-Time Casual Placement | Hope Industries Labour Hire | Host Employer: Fyansford, Avalon, Ascot
Hope Industries is a social enterprise providing inclusive employment opportunities through our labour hire services.
We’re currently seeking reliable and motivated individuals for full-time casual placements with our valued partner, who is a leading name in recycling and resource recovery.
This role offers hands-on, ongoing work for those who take pride in being part of a team that makes a real impact on sustainability and the environment.
About the Role:
You’ll work as part of a busy recycling team, sorting materials, operating machinery, and maintaining safe, efficient site operations.
No two days are the same — this is a great opportunity to build skills, gain experience, and be part of a supportive and safety-focused workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Sort, clean, and process recyclable materials on conveyors or manually
Operate site machinery and equipment (training provided)
Perform general labouring and yard hand duties
Assist with site maintenance and material movement
Follow all PPE and safety procedures
Contribute to a positive and team-focused work environment
What We’re Looking For:
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious individuals
Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on, active work
Previous experience in recycling, waste management, or construction (preferred but not essential)
Machine operating or forklift experience highly regarded
Ideally hold a valid drivers licence and reliable transport
Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
Ability to work effectively within a team
