Kane Nuttall is the Founder and CEO of The Power in You Project where he held a vision to see come to life a social enterprise dedicated to empowering individuals through recovery, growth, and meaningful connection. Building on this foundation, Kane created the vision for Hope Industries—a labour hire and capacity-building enterprise designed to bridge the gap between support and sustainable employment.
Through his vision, Kane has collaborated to design a model that helps people build confidence, navigate complex systems, and access flexible, community-based work opportunities. His work continues to inspire hope, purpose, and positive change across the communities he serve.
Workforce and Operations Lead
Jacinta Wells
As Workforce Procurement and Operations Lead at Hope Industries, Jacinta Wells draws on extensive experience in senior leadership roles across social procurement and general management. She oversees contract and procurement negotiations, workforce coordination, service scheduling, and operational delivery across Hope Industries cleaning, gardening, and maintenance divisions. Guided by a strong commitment to social impact, Jacinta ensures that every placement creates meaningful employment opportunities for individuals facing barriers to work. Her leadership combines operational excellence with a deep understanding of community needs, driving Hope Industries’ mission to empower people and strengthen communities through purposeful employment.
Peer Employment Mentor
Matt Ludbrook
Matt first connected with The Power in You Project in 2018 as a participant, following personal challenges with substance misuse. Over the past four years, he has worked tirelessly on his recovery—completing studies in Youth Work and volunteering within the organisation.
Today, Matt draws on his lived experience to provide peer mentoring and on-the-job support, helping others navigate similar challenges as they rebuild their confidence and work towards meaningful employment. His empathy, resilience, and commitment to others make him an invaluable part of the team and a role model for positive change
